Responsibilities:
Purposes and Objectives
- Concept Artists work across all Bluer projects from film to commercial. Concept Artists produce concept art for pitches; working on character and environmental design. They will also provide creative documents to support the VFX Supervisor’s artistic vision.
- If you have a passion for concept art and are a master at Photoshop then we want to hear from you, whether you’ve just graduated, are looking for new challenges or are used to leading teams of Concept Artists – all levels are welcome!
Need to do:
- Rapidly generate and adapt ideas to a specific brief and within tight deadlines working closely with the client or VFX Supervisor. Complete detailed presentation artwork to a high standard.
- This will require an artist who is comfortable in a variety of aesthetic styles and technical implementations.
Need to know:
- Thorough knowledge of creative and artistic methods and techniques
- Technical proficiency in photography with an emphasis on composition, depth, lighting and colour
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional aptitude for time management in relation to bringing multiple priorities and tasks to completion within a set deadline
Need to be:
- Able to take artistic and technical direction positively and work well within a team environment.
- Pro-active.
